A regular meeting of the Mayfield Town Board was held on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the Mayfield Municipal Complex 28 North School Street. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Supervisor McLain and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by William Guido.

PUBLIC- Betty Tabor questioned if the board was sponsoring the band concert in a few weeks.
BUILDING INSPECTOR REPORT- Mike Stewart CEO submitted his monthly report which included 11 permits issued and the certified letter for the unsafe building on Lathrop Road has been signed for.
SUPERVISOR'S REPORT- Supervisor McLain reported that the Broadalbin Volunteer Ambulance had sent the town a letter requesting a meeting on June 27th at the Ambulance building at 7PM. Supervisor McLain and Councilman Argotsinger will attend.
RES# 92 ACCEPT ACCOUNDING OF RECORDS REPORT
On motion by Councilwoman Sieg and seconded by Councilman Argotsinger the following resolution was ADOPTED 4AYE (McLain, Argotsinger, Putman, Sieg) 1 ABSENT (Ryan) 0 NAY
RESOLVED that the Mayfield Town Board approves the accounting of records report for the Town Justices, Town Clerk/ Collector, Supervisor and Bookkeeper.
WATER & SEWER COMMITTEE- Doug Hill made a presentation to the board on the subject establishment of water and sewer districts for the Town of Mayfield. It was the recommendation of the committee is for immediate action to continue the process of establishing a sewer and or water districts within the town of Mayfield.
Councilman Argotsinger thanked the committee members and felt the town board should discuss this further at their next meeting.
Supervisor McLain reported that Councilman Ryan was not in attendance tonight as he was attending the Hudson River Black River Regulating District meeting.
Councilman Putman turned in the annual inventory sheets.
Councilman Putman reported that the one ton truck should be arriving in the next 10 days.
Councilman Argotsinger reported that Don Russell from Donjes Lane would like the town to take over the road. The road is scheduled to be paved in the next few weeks. A small discussion followed.
The right to farm law was discussed and hopes to have adopted by the end of the year.
The Town Clerk's report was submitted with fees collected in Decal's 3.99 A account $647.48 B account $722.17
RES# 93 APPROVAL OF VOUCHERS
On motion by Councilwoman Sieg and seconded by Councilman Argotsinger the following resolution was ADOPTED 4 AYES(McLain, Argotsinger, Putman, Sieg) 1 ABSENT( Ryan) 0 NAYS
RESOLVED that the Mayfield Town Board approves the payment of vouchers in the following accounts
General Townwide A vouchers 161-195 $18,903.71
General Outside B vouchers 44-51 $2,220.82
Highway Outside DB vouchers 69-100 $36,996.18
Mayor Hart from the Village attended the meeting to open communications between the town and village.
RES# 94 APPROVE PETTY CASH FOR BEACH
On motion by Councilwoman Sieg and seconded by Councilman the following resolution was APPROVED 4 AYES (McLain, Argotsinger, Putman, Sieg) 1 ABSENT (Ryan) 0 NAY
RESOLVED that the Mayfield Town Board approves to set up petty cash in the amount of $100.00 for the beach to be returned at the close of the beach.
Mayor Hart recommended to the board to check with Sunset RV Park for possible hooking into their sewer plant if the town proceeds with plans to create a water and sewer district, as the village plant is near capacity.
Everyone was reminded that for the summer months we would only be meeting on the 3rd Thursday of each month.
